The Southern Chow Chow Club, Inc. (SCCC), is one of the nation's premiere dog fancier clubs. Established in 1926 as a membership organization, SCCC was formed to encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred Chow Chows and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection, promote responsible dog ownership and educate the public on the unique Chow Chow breed. SCCC is located in the mid-Atlantic section of the United States and operates within a 125-mile radius of the counties surrounding Washington, D.C., including Virginia and Maryland. However, SCCC's members are located across the United States and we welcome all new applicants located nationally and internationally.
